Areas of application
BORNIT® Unibit serves as protective and waterproofing coating for concrete, plaster and masonry against ground moisture (not for building structure waterproofing according to DIN 18533) as well as topcoat upon restoration of bituminous roof membranes (roof pitch of at least 3%). Furthermore, BORNIT® Unibit is used for protection against moisture on concrete elements (shafts, channels, etc.) in the area in contact with the ground. Not suitable for corrugated bituminous sheets.
BORNIT® Unibit can be used diluted with water 1:2 as adhesion-improving primer for all BORNIT® bitumen emulsion products as well as undiluted as primer for BORNIT® BORNIthene Plus.
