areas of application
BORNIT® Spray Adhesive is used for priming and improved adhesion of BORNIT® Alu-Tape, among others.

type and properties
BORNIT® Spray Adhesive is a sprayable, solvent-containing polymer, unifying the product characteristics of a primer and of an adhesive.

  • primer and adhesive in one product
  • easiest handling without additional tools like brushes or rollers
  • no tools to be cleaned
  • economic
  • very good adhesion and adhesive strength
  • quick drying, approx. 3-5 minutes of flash-off time

The substrate must be dry, clean and free from grease. Loose particles must be removed prior to application of the primer. Moist flanks must be dried with hot air.

Prior to processing, shake the can well for approx. 1 minute. BORNIT® Spray Adhesive is uniformly sprayed on by pressing the spraying valve (upside down application) at a distance of approx. 10 cm to the building structure. The layer thickness is determined by the 3-way valve (settings high – medium – low). Only spray in the downward direction! Holding the valve in the upward direction, only propellant escapes! This may result in the can not being emptied completely. Adhesion of the joint tape may be undertaken after a short flash-off period (approx. 3-5 minutes)! After use, clean the nozzle by briefly spraying in the upward direction in any case. Do not use in closed areas!

The content of the can is sufficient for approx. 6 m².
