Areas of application
BORNIT® Bitumen Cleaner is used to clean soiled tools, machinery, plant and similar items. BORNIT® Bitumen Cleaner contains solvents. The cleaner has been specially developed to remove bitumen, tar, asphalt and stubborn oil- and grease-based contaminants. It is suitable for use on suitable metal, concrete, stone and other solvent-resistant surfaces. Compatibility must be checked for materials sensitive to solvents, such as rubber, certain plastics, paints, etc.
Type and properties
BORNIT® Bitumen Cleaner serves removing bituminous contaminations from surfaces and tools. The cleaner effectively dissolves even heavy soiling and enables thorough cleaning.
Processing
Apply BORNIT® Bitumen Cleaner evenly to the bitumen-stained surface. Allow it to work for a sufficient period, depending on the type and degree of soiling. Then remove the loosened dirt with a cloth or a suitable cleaning tool. If necessary, repeat the cleaning process until the dirt has been completely removed.
Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated during use. Observe the protective measures specified on the product label and the instructions in the safety data sheet.

Storage
Can be stored for 12 months in cool, dry conditions in the original sealed container. Keep away from sources of ignition!
Disposal note
Only recycle completely empty containers. Material residues can be disposed of according to AVV-ASN: 070104* (other organic solvents, washing liquids and mother liquors).
