Type and properties
Applicator with integrated 2 mm slit for the defined application of BORNIT® Crack Flex in the cold installation process.

Surface
The surface of the crack flanks should be even enough to allow the puller to pull off the crack material laterally in a sealing manner. Excessive unevenness or coarseness of the structure allow uncontrolled leakage of crack repair material laterally. This makes it impossible to achieve a defined crack cover.
Processing
Apply BORNIT® Crack Flex roughly over the crack and pull off in a defined manner using a BORNIT® Hand applicator. This process can also be carried out several times in the opposite direction to the previous pulling direction. In this way the crack material penetrates better into the crack.
Layer thickness control
The defined slit in the applicator (height and width) constantly defines the overlap of the crack with the crack material.
