Areas of application
BORNIT® Edge Module is an add-on module for machine sealing (with BORNIT® Flexomat 3.1) of the higher edge of the road of traffic areas made of asphalt against laterally penetrating surface water.
Type and properties
Add-on module for the BORNIT® Flexomat 3.1; used to seal the edges of load-bearing, binder and surface layers with BORNIT® Edge Flex.
Processing
The edge module is screwed to the module plate at the front of the BORNIT® Flexomat 3.1 with screws.
The hose for material transport is connected by means of a union nut to the thread provided on the material discharge pipe of the Flexomat (right side in the centre of the pressure vessel).
The outrigger can be adjusted to the shape of the edge to be sealed, depending on the conditions on the construction site.
