Areas of application
BORNIT® PS Cleaner is predominantly used for gentle cleaning of tools and machine parts following their use with BORNIT® Cold Sealing Compound and BORNIT® Cold Joint Sealant. Not yet thoroughly hardened product residues can be removed effortlessly. In case of thoroughly hardened polysulphide products, BORNIT® PS Cleaner cannot be used anymore

Type and properties
BORNIT® PS Cleaner is a ketone-containing solvent for cleaning not yet thoroughly hardened polysulphide products, such as BORNIT® Cold Sealing Compound and BORNIT® Cold Joint Sealant. Upon use on plastic parts, respectively check compatibility in advance. Rubber sealings must not be cleaned with BORNIT® PS Cleaner. Upon contact with skin, BORNIT® PS Cleaner has a degreasing effect, and it is easily flammable.

Processing
When working with BORNIT® PS-Cleaner, provide for sufficient ventilation. Furthermore, wearing protective gloves and protective goggles is indispensable. The product is applied onto contaminated substrates using a brush or a cloth. After a short exposure time, the product residues can be removed with a dry cloth. In case of coarse contaminations, repeat the application, if applicable. Do not use in closed rooms!

Storage
The product must be stored dry, in closed containers. Protect from direct sunlight and exposure to heat. Keep container in a well-ventilated place away from sources of ignition. The product is not sensitive to frost!

Disposal note
Only recycle completely empty containers. Material residues can be disposed of according to AVV-ASN: 070204 (other organic solvents).
