Areas of application
In order to guarantee and improve adhesion of BORNIT® Hot Sealing TL, BORNIT® Hot Sealing N1, BORNIT® Hot Sealing Rail, BORNIT® Hot Sealing PS and BORNIT® Joint Tape. The primer is used for priming the fusion faces and is indispensable for optimal adhesion of the sealing compound.
BORNIT® Hot Compound Primer is also used as a primer for BORNIT® BORNIthene Plus.

Type and properties
BORNIT® Hot Compound Primer is a quick-drying, dissolved, polymer-containing primer. It is cold workable, spreadable and sprayable.
Quality according to ZTV Fug-StB 15 and tested according to TL Fug-StB 15 as well as Swiss Standard (SNV).

  • quick-drying and solvent-containing
  • economical and cost-cutting, due to low equipment and material costs and effort

The substrate must be clean, dry and grease-free.

The hot compound primer must be applied at normal temperatures using brush-on or spray-on methods. The processing temperature (ambient and substrate temperatures) should not be below +5 °C and not above +35 °C.

Disposal note
Only recycle completely empty containers. Material residues can be disposed of according to AVV-ASN: 080111 (paint and varnish residues containing organic solvents or other hazardous substances).
