BORNIT® Road Markings ensure safe traffic management in public transport areas. In addition, there are many other areas of application, such as logistics markings on factory premises, company or club logos and many other design options. BORNT® road markings are not suitable for indoor markings.
In principle, all traffic signs are possible – here are a few examples:
VZ 206 – Stop! Give way
VZ 255 – No motorcycles, including those with sidecars, mopeds and motorised bicycles
VZ 224 – Bus stop
VZ 267 – No entry
VZ 237 – Cycle path
VZ 240 – Shared footpath and cycle path
VZ 283 – No stopping
When ordering, please specify the size and code, e.g. Ø 600 mm VZ 206.

surface
The substrate must be solid, clean and mineral. In the case of concrete surfaces, residues of curing agents and thin layers of fine mortar created during production should be removed. Asphalt substrates should not be covered with road markings too early. There is a risk that escaping flux oils will have an adhesion-reducing effect.
processing
The surface should be dry, frost-free, load-bearing and even. Careful sweeping is a prerequisite for good adhesion of the BORNIT® Road Markings. The substrate is briefly preheated with a gas burner. Then the marking is placed on the intended surface and aligned. Now the BORNIT® Road Marking is carefully heated with a gas burner and welded on. Then allow to cool and the road marking is ready to be driven over.
